The planning of celebrity weddings are enough to get most fans to purchase those gossip magazines at the grocery store. It's not that we'll actually show up at the supposed clandestine meeting of the secret Hollywood lovers, we just want to be in the know. There is something about Hollywood romance that we just can't seem to get enough of, even if we can acknowledge that these are real people that deserve just a bit of privacy. While knowing the location and seeing aerial pictures of the location is all well and good, knowing where the new Mr. and Mrs. will be honeymooning is a must!
Perhaps it's the fact that we feel as though we know our favorite Hollywood stars and we want to share their special day with them. Or, it could be that we are all intrigued by what the rich and famous would choose to do on a vacation, or honeymoon. It's probably a combination of the two, nevertheless, we cannot help but find ourselves fascinated with where celebrities go and what they do while honeymooning.
One of the most recent honeymoons of interest was that of Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban. The two vacationed more than 5,000 miles from his home in Bora Bora! The two were pictured in the blue waters in front of their private bungalow. The bungalow had its own private beach where the two spent a lot of time just relaxing and enjoying the other's company. Nicole and Keith were very affectionate with one another on this brief honeymoon, but soon they were back in Nashville at his home living life as man and wife!
Another of the relatively recent honeymoons that people were talking about was that of Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher. These two were married in September of 2005 after a long courtship. Their seemingly intense feelings for one another fueled the fan frenzy for information on this celebrity honeymoon. The two went away to Europe where they simply enjoyed great food, romantic settings, and the company of the one that they love.
Many pictures were taken and articles written when the celebrity honeymoon of Britney Spears and Kevin Federline was ongoing. The two were married in September of 2005 and went on a great honeymoon to none other than Fiji. Britney and her new husband seemed to enjoy the beautiful waters and beaches of Fiji, though the paparazzi did not give them a break. While the pictures and articles fed fans desire for information, Britney and Kevin holed up in their honeymoon suite for some real alone time.

One celebrity couple that was able to keep their honeymoon under wraps was Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony, though the two were skilled at keeping their romance low profile right up until the big day. Jennifer and Marc were married on June 6, 2004 but they have kept the details of their honeymoon private, which just makes the information even more desired by fans!
In 2003 Trista, from the Bachelorette and her husband Ryan were married and went on their honeymoon. This was a honeymoon that was bound to get attention because of the nature of their relationship. The two met on television, so there was an expectation by Bachelorette fans that we'd get the goods on their honeymoon. Of course, it is known that the two honeymooned in California as well as Fiji, and from the looks of the pictures that were published, had a wonderful time!
Madonna is as high profile as a celebrity gets, so her marriage and honeymoon to Guy Ritchie were of interest to many! The two married in December of 2000 and honeymooned in a beautiful English castle that is owned by none other than Sting and Trudy Styler. The castle was a unique place to go, but seemed to fit the newly wed couple quite well.
Kate Hudson and Chris Robinson seemed to fall in love and get married before anyone really had time to take notice of the striking power couple. The two were married in December of 2000, but did not honeymoon because both had very busy schedules. Despite not going on honeymoon right away, the two have vacationed quite a bit and seem very much in love. Perhaps that is the reality of busy starlets these days, no time for a honeymoon!

The two took a royal sized honeymoon when they cruised on the Mediterranean Sea on the Royal Yacht Brittania. The honeymoon was of course highly publicized, though the two managed to keep out of site fairly well.
The honeymoon of Elvis and Priscilla Presley is another that fits into the legendary category. The two were married in the spring of 1967 and honeymooned in Palm Springs, California. The two spent a good deal of their time together, not really going out and about much at all! Romance, anyone?
Often called the most beautiful woman in the history of women, Marilyn Monroe also went on a grand honeymoon with husband Joe DiMaggio. The two were married in 1954 and afterward went on a honeymoon to Japan. Not a common honeymoon destination, but neither Marilyn nor Joe cared for doing things the way other people would do them!
Just as celebrities seem to be larger than life, so too are most of their honeymoons. Vacations and honeymoons are one time where celebrities can really enjoy all of the money that they have earned at their specific craft. While many of us wonder what it would be like to live the life of a celebrity, others of us simply sit back and watch by reading every detail of their wedding and honeymoon!
